Although the problem appears to be one of printing resolution I think if you backlight 
the
curtains so that there is no black between poles then you will eliminate the printed 
black
fuzzy lines leaving a clearer picture of the product.I think the curve of the poles 
will
be enhanced as well and the overall look of the curtains brighter
I don't think William Curwin would recommend the polariser idea,he nose about these
things.
