Richard If you simply want to update folders, go to Finder > View > Show View Options > select the folder, or HD, and choose Date Modified & Calculate all sizes. The View Option window is dynamic. That's to say, whatever you have selected, HD, Desktop, folder, etc, is what will be affected by the settings.
