To photograph artwork behind glass, or remove other reflections>

CROSS POLARIZATION:
Place specular lights at 45 degrees on left and right of artwork. Strobes with large (11 inch) reflectors work best.
Buy and place 12x12 (inch) linear polarizing fillers over the light source(s). Make sure both are oriented in the same axis.
Place a polarizer on your lens and rotate it until all reflections are gone.


I think you find the results far superior compared to diffused lighting.
