A client has asked for 1Ds files at a height of one metre and 2.5 metres for a exhibition stand - they're portrait, not landscape. I've asked my client to ask their printer if they really need 300dpi (which I find hard to believe). So far I've processed them in Adobe Camera Raw so that they're 6144 pixels high. I'm aiming to compare enlarging them in CS using 'bicubic smoother' and comparing that to using a trial version of Genuine Fractals Print Pro.

Even if it's only 150dpi it's going to look soft close up. The image is only selectively in focus, so my plan is to only sharpen those areas. I've got Photokit and Photokit sharpener. Any suggestions for sensible settings/methods would be gratefully received.

Many thanks
