Fernand and Shangara

Many thanks for the advice. Luckily they only had to be 150dpi (so 'only' 2500cm high at 150dpi). In the end I did the initial sharpening as per Fernand (Just after Raw processing, set Local Contrast Enhancement (USM filter): A: 20, R: 20/30/40/50, T: 0, this remove the AA filter artefacts and brings up low contrast details,). I then enlarged the file using Genuine Fractals, and sharpened the enlarged image with Focus Magic (as Fernand's setting didn't make enough difference on such a huge file). Running the filter took 40 minutes on a G5 DP 2.0 with 2.5GB of RAM - time to make a few cups of tea. I then used the history brush to remove the filter in areas that didn't require sharpening. Until the images are printed I can't report on how much of a success this has been, however!
