Good point, Barry.  Looks like the biggest single drive is the 250 (from a
source at LaCie).

Not yet - another good point but, like you, makes me nervous.  If I try it
I'll let you know result.

I'm thinking of going over to ChronoSync and not using RAID as it seems to
add a level of complication I don't need.  Anybody know if  Chronosync or
Retrospect is best for thisapart from the obvious price difference?

Computer World are doing the 250 Firewire extreme for 133 GBP + VAT right
now which seems a good price.
