That's a wound and a half to heal, Ilford really do make fantastic products.

Everything they do is really good, everything - only I wish they could
evangelise more about the qualities of emulsified light capture to a
younger, perhaps more open minded audience.

The upper echelons of Ilford management should take a close look at what is
being said in the user forums on their own website by people completely
determined to keep on working with film, and Ilford films in particular.

PS: Not really my intention to rattle any cages today - tough love if I
have.

In case some of you are wondering, my ideal digital capture scenario
is...........an Imacon back on a Hassy fitted with a digital macro-lens in
front of a lightbox, on which I can oil-mount my film and back project with
a Solux digi-lamp through a spiral variable neutral density filter. The
Hassy sits in a jig for full X-Y-Z movement for full multi-pass
multi-position multi-exposure 48bit scanning direct to disk, and completely
do-able too.

Now could some of you cut me a bit of slack? :)
