I'm no programmer, but this looks to me to be exactly the kind of thing
Xgrid was designed for.

You may well have to get multiple C1 licenses, but I daresay a decent
AppleScript programmer will be able to put together a front end for you
which will turn multiple Mac G5's into the supercomputer you want.
