Dear All,
<x-tad-bigger>About a year ago I did a studio job for a client. About 60 pack-shots of meat products on a grey background. I was very structured during te shoot, so the light, camerasettings, whitebalans etc never changed. Monitor callibrated and all looked great to me and the client.
I delivered all on CD in tiff 16, tiff 8, jpeg 300 and preview 72dpi. Also the raws were written on cd. The CD was written for PC, because that's what the client has. I received a panic call from the printer last week : they were about ready to print, but the images looked terrible!
So, I went into my archives and opened my copy of the job, all looked flat, grey, desaturated... Starting over from the raw files I have made new Tifs overnight, but all the others were useless. There was no profile mismatch (adobe 98), so I still don't know what went wrong. Any experience or tought about this??
Regards,
johan Vanbecelaere
