Hi, I suspect this thread is becoming long and whimsical, and I hear the creak of the guillotine coming down as Listmum's hand tugs at the rope.. However I get the same feeling, as a dauber of oil paints, when I see in a remaindered bookshop, for �1.49, a kit consisting of five small tubes of colour, a small canvas board and stubby brush, with an invitation to "Paint like the Old Masters". "Just add talent and 20 years' of practice," I am tempted to add. I think we are all safe really.
