At the "In and Out" seminar earlier this year, I left with the impression that Lysons CIS was unreliable. I've not experienced this but will say that it blocksI've used one for over two years on a 1290 and its been totally reliable. The heads block about once every two months and free up with a cleaning cycle. I set one up for a friend and the first print was perfect...I was amazed too. Mind you I also know somebody who would've shot his had he had a gun. I've put thousands of prints through mine so I cannot agree that they are unreliable.
the heads very often and can easily be cleared with a head clean etc.
