Thanks, Martin. I will try it and see how I get on. I haven't looked too
deeply into scripting (learning Lingo did my head in and put me right off
scripting). 

Will the above script work on PSD files? And will it duplicate files, sans
camera metadata, to a folder without applying compression if the files are
TIFFs and you remove -lzw?
