Oh dear, so it is! Sorry for that duff info.

There are a number of other ways of editing out the EXIF though. Here are
a few links to some. None as easy as a script in iView, perhaps I shall
mention that to them.

<http://johnst.org/sw/exiftags/> Exiftags - I think this is also read only.

<http://www.qdev.de/?location=mac/exifrenamer> Exifrenamer - just for re
naming photos by date data.

<http://www.hugsan.com/EXIFutils/index.html> EXIFutils - You will need
command line skils, "The EXIFutils are a set of command line utilities
that extract, add, remove, copy, and replace EXIF and IPTC data from
JPEG, TIFF, and other image file formats"

If you know PHP, <http://uk.php.net/exif>

I'm sure there are more if you Teoma about. <http://s.teoma.com/search?
q=edit+exif&qcat=1&qsrc=0&Search.x=0&Search.y=0&Search=submit>

My iView workflow allows this. I edit my IPTC info, do captions etc in a
temporary iView catalogue then synchronise this data back to my original
files. Once I have written my captioned "original" files I write them to
CD and add that to my master iView catalogue.
