Hi all I am going mad because I just bought a new Lacie d2 DVD writer and it keeps failing to write cd's - that�s one of the reasons I dumped my old cd writer!
I have looked a little on the web with no definitive answers apart from the fact that it may be a 'bum' pice of hardware surely these things don't fail that much? here is what I have been doing: using Titatanium toast 6.0 on OSX 10.3.6 it has written data at 48 times a few times correctly but failed a lot on the same batch of blank imation CD-R 52x Is it possible that my internal DVDrom drive is too slow to 'feed' the writer?
