This as probably been already debated but i'd like people's advice on the purchase of a 21"-23" LCD monitor for accurate colour work.
I was about to go for a new Apple 23" HD Cinema display but was told that they can exhibit colour variations across the screen even after repeated calibrations with an Eyeone or Spyder. For less money i was recommended the Lacie 21" LCD which appeared more accurate and stable. I know about the new Eizo at over � 3000 and of course Barco monitors but as most people i'm operating on a budget but want the best i can afford.

P.S Space considerations negate getting a hefty CRT.
