If I'm understanding:

i18n:translate=""

1. The custom sections.pt would iterate over the toplevel folders as usual,
and the
i18n:translate attribute would somehow be automatically written to each tab
(probably before being parsed as a page template).
2. The translation would be taken from a special po file probably with the
domain "i18n-nav" or something.
