Who knows the current status of genesis? The openplans site is *very*
out of date. I'm also wondering about future plans for it...
Reinout and Vidar, I'm hoping you read this list....
I'm reading :-) (though I just opened my newsreader after 2 weeks of
customer projects).
I assume you mean the vidar-genesis, not the
golden-roof-sprint-in-innsbruck-genesis.
I actually haven't heard anything from Vidar since october or so. He got
a good prototype working in August. Jean-Paul Ladage used it at the
first Dutch Plone User Day for getting developers started. It is pretty
neat. The last news I heard in september was "I'm writing my thesis" :-)
The golden roof sprint genesis is pretty much dead at the moment. Nobody
did any work on it after the sprint. I put my effort in keeping
archgenxml running (and getting a decent plone 3.0 version out of the
door). Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, Jens Klein started
working on it big-time again with some of his employees. He's been real
busy since.
To be honest, I've essentially stopped using and developing archgenxml
as it doesn't match our development style at Zest software anymore. Too
much other great stuff to put my time into :-)
