I agree completely and I for one will NOT be transferring over to Vista
unless some better reasons to do so are apparent. I've run the Beta and
in a couple of words it stinks - apart from the eye candy which is quite
neat - hence the link as you get the eye candy with an O/S you at least
know about.

If I could only run VFP9 on Linux I'd gladly junk the whole lot but you
know the potential pitfalls in doing that ala Paul McNett, so meanwhile
any improvement to the look/feel of XP at no cost is welcome.

And it at least makes my PC look and feel a BIT like a Mac even though
it's not!

        I always love how new versions of Windows distinguish themselves
by not looking/working the same as the previous versions, yet Windows
users whine about hard it is to use Linux because it doesn't look or
work exactly like Windows does!

        Why would anyone want to switch to the Vista look when XP was
supposedly such an improvement over 2000?
