Bush has said that "you're either with us or you're against us", and
that set his minions in motion branding people traitors if they
disagreed with the war plan.

I/we (I'm not alone) didn't want that war in the first place, because we
knew it would be a failure before the first shot was fired. Yes, now we
have to stop it. Much harder, but it can - and must - be done.

I think that she and Colin Powell view themselves as subordinate to the
mas'ser, in far less degree than times past, but still not in a position
to challenge the boss-man's authority. What's so sad and tragic is that
these two are very good people.
