There's no harm in asking, but this is egregious.  Apple does not have any 
rights to "POD" at this time and its questionable that they ever will.  POD is 
a common insurance abbreviation for Pay on Death.  It's probably on every U.S. 
Savings Bond but certainly on the ones I have.  

Ed is right about vigorously defending a legitimate trademark.  Too bad Apple 
doesn't have one.  Bad Apple.
