There is no possible confusion between the abbreviation POD on your Savings Bond and their device. But any product marketed as having a music or technological link that calls themselves a name that incorporates 'pod' is probably trying to ride the wave of iPod popularity; those are the only ones that can be taken to weaken the trademark.
