This list included job posting numbers for Dice.com and the top three
languages Java, C and C# (hardly script-jockey stuff) accounted for 62% of
the job postings. If you exclude JavaScript and PERL the scripting languages
(PHP, Ruby and Python) accounted for about 6% of the job posting numbers.
Java alone accounted for almost 36% of the job postings.  It would seem this
script-jockey's opinions are backed up by some pretty persuasive numbers
with regards to an aspiring programmer's future prospects.  Graham.
