Something wrong with those numbers, Ted. A rental would run 2500-3000 per month, 30K-36K per year. If you are single and quiet and a good tenant, you could probably find something smaller for under $1K per month, probably illegal (there's a lot of that around). Not only is Westchester pricey, it is also snotty and snobby. When you pay that much for something that costs 30% - 40% less in another nice area (but not Westchester), you get a lot of attitude with your purchase.
