I have used then for ages because at one time was more control than the vfp screen. That has changed. I think it depends what you want look wise. If MDI forms are ok then you dont need top level. Multiple screens may be better with top level though. The new dockable forms does not work with top level making (IMO) then useless as I use top level all the time. Allen
