I believe there is a registry hack that will allow multiple RDP sessions in standard XP Pro. I suspect that using it may not be legal. I believe I once found someone who is offering an add on product that does the same thing.
I usually work with non-profits and I have them get a copy of server 2003 from TechSoup for $40. They also need Client Access Licenses for each user at several dollars more. This seems to give them all the capabilities of XP plus multiple remote sessions.
