No, belief in God does not make you a fool. Misled yes IMO, delusional
in some cases, but you have to become a fool on your own.
Rick Perry is not a fool because he believes in God, but because he
believes in Creationism and denies climate change (and for several other
reasons that have even less to do with God).
(I shouldn't say he _believes_ in Creationism - it's much more likely
that he _professes_ to believe in it to gather votes.)
