The talk from MS sounds as though they're fully going with HTML5 and CSS3 now, and so the Silverlight endeavor seems like another thing abandoned. The stunning thing here is that Silverlight was still very new, imo. They're really reinforcing the reasons why folks should not put any faith in them when the are so quick to pull the rug out from underneath their followers.
