Hi folk
I know some of you are committed Blat users and would appreciate some
feedback
A client of mine has used my payroll system for 3 years, and I use blat to
send pdf style payslips each fortnight
(about 150 employees).
The company is based in Papua New Guinea
This has worked seamlessly for 3 years, and the only thing I changed (about
a year ago) was the replacement of the txt file with a pdf attachment.

I went overseas on 8 September for a planned 5 week trip, and yes, you
guessed it, 3 days into my trip I received a sos message
The system stopped emailing payslips with Blat log reporting (150 errors)
as below

I have Googled this and have spent endless hours on it and at my wits end.
I am convinced they have changed something on their Server but I do not know
what.

Sending trblat.txt to [email protected]
Subject: Payslip for F/N Ending: 28 September 2011
Login name is [email protected]
Attached binary file: MR030-.PDF
Error: Wait a bit (possible timeout).
The SMTP server does not like the name [email protected].
Have you set the 'To:' field correctly, or do you need authorization
(-u/-pw) ?
The SMTP server response was ->
Error: Wait a bit (possible timeout).
