The value of the used 2005 Jetta Wagon, which is very low mileage, is somewhere in the range of $16,000.00 to $17,500.00. The value of her Dodge Caravan is practically nothing; because, it has damage all over from bumps, ding, scrapes, collisions, etc, and will require significant body work. I think the problem with her Caravan is due to her ADHD. She is so easily distracted, even when doing something she really enjoys. This inability to maintain focus, (eg attention deficit), is a problem when driving. Anyway, I really am giving her the VW Jetta Wagon, but in a way that will force her to sell the Dodge Caravan, so its out of my hair. Once she has title to the Jetta Wagon TDI, she can use it as a trade in on another car, sell it, keep it, or do anything else she wants with it.
