The tablet is just in the incubation phase right now from the
developer POV. We have the old way we have done things and a brand
new tool that may have us doing the same tasks in a whole new way.

On this list that would NEVER EVER happen/work.

I consider the phrase less is more with handheld computers, phone to
tablet in size.

There will be much greater design implications over the next couple of
years. How do I present the necessary info through my GUI so the user
can accomplish what they need. Will images be the presentation medium
replacing grids/tables/text boxes? Will there be scenarios defined
that prefetch for the user instead of waiting on the user to INPUT?

This month there have been a few to many people at M$ who have left
for other opportunities. YAG is one of many. Why the sudden exodus?
Internal pressure, direction that goes against the individual, failure
for the corp to see the trends, etc.?

I laugh when this list talks about M$ changing the direction and
stranding .NET developers in things like Silverlight. From a group
that codes in VFP that is.

Many of us would like to see Ballmer step down. He is too old school
and M$ needs to get adaptive. Stop the multi-version crap for the OS.
Focus on one that works everywhere PLEASE.
