The banking crisis turned into the debt crisis; and yes the headlines makes the UK look poor but we are taking major steps under a centre right govt to remove the deficit over the term of one parliament. Yes it will probably take longer, but the steps taken (including heavy job cuts in Central and local govt and serious welfare cuts) have resulted in us retaining our AAA rating, having low interest rates (Which doesn't help me one bit).
