You get Analysis Server, Integration Server, Reporting Server all with the database. Now ETL is not that difficult and we all have to do ETL don't we? Reporting from your system is the other necessary evil. You can also do cubes to get ahead on your reporting. 2008 was good but 2012 really fills in on the BI side of the fence big time.
