Touching the screen basically duplicates the function of the mouse. I made the buttons bigger so they can press them to perform a certain function like pay bill, begin scanning, etc. Touching any field is just like clicking on it with a mouse.
I didn't need to modify the application in any way for the touch screen. It is awesome if you like touch screens.
