Well, mainframe mentality: if you have the entire corporate knowledge
on your machine, you want to restrict who/what can access it,
where/when they can access it.

Hard to believe this is causing so much trouble. ftp is pretty basic,
stupid protocol.

You said all the machine were corporate, so they should have the same
software, versions and configuration, right?
