Kevin, I've installed a couple of installations now and have also been suitably impressed. The only problems I found were:
1. All Wordpress based software (in fact CMS systems in general) looks the same whatever template(s) you use. 2. Wordpress doesn't allow you to shuffle the order in which say Pages or categories are displayed in the side bars. The only sure way to do it is to delete then re-insert from scratch which is a pain when there are lots of categories. There is a plugin that allows simple "order changing" but you need to change EVERY template you use which can become tedious when clients want to change the look/feel. I must admit I really like Serendipity which is the basis of my blog (PHP) as the source is well written and it auto finds plugins and themes automatically. Installing a new element is simply a case of going into admin and clicking on a thumbnail image. Not even any uploading to the webserver is required. I'll dig out the name of the "image upload/blog" plugin for you. So far, the client hasn't asked for it but I'll keep that in mind. So far, I've installed these plugins: * "Static Front Page" so that when the URL is brought up, it displays a particular page use as the "Home" page. * "GPixel-Contact" which is a simple contact form that visitors can fill out for more information. Wordpress is really impressive on how simple, and yet how flexible the product is.
