But that's not a "collect names and addresses" type application. Those
pretty much all look like Cardfile.
I think one of the biggest frauds perpetrated by the computer industry is
the notion that complexity can really be made simple.
If you have to do a complex task, then you need a complex interface to
control it. If you can replace the complex interface with something that is
significantly simpler, then it can only be for one of two reasons;
A. The task really wasn't that complex, or;
B. You've taken away more control from the user than you should have, and
you'll eventually have to restore it using a bunch of kludges that will be
uglier than the original complex interface.
