Installing Windows 8 requires you to 'establish a Microsoft account'.
But I don't WANT a G.D. Microsoft account!! I bought my Win 8 for cash, I'm not asking for credit! I finally surrendered and did it, in the interest of getting the damned thing working, but it rankles.
(Not to mention that Win 8, when working, is no prize package.)

This is spreading like the flu, every place you go you are asked to log in or 'create an account'. I think I understand why they're doing it (to keep the scammers at bay), but it's a real PITA.

And yes, I'm using LastPass, but that's not entirely painless.
