I've been studying the percentages in America and comparing them against
china and india.

We have about 47% that are 1040 based
We have about 13% that are self employed
We have about 13% that are retired
The remaining 23% are children and something else that escapes my mind at
the moment.

After studying the Chinese papers for some time I find that their
percentages match as well.

And if you really study it, the education percentages are basically a match
across all three countries.

Sadly there will always be x percent that will never get it.

In this man's defense though, he might be scared ???????? and trying to
bluster his way through something that he has never experienced in his life.

But he might be a idiot as well.

Please don't take this as any sort of derision against the homeless.... I'm
guessing our situation here in Eugene is 'better' for these folks than in
almost all other places...

A couple years I ago I volunteered for the overnight shift at a warming
center (when it drops below 38 or so they open various churches and
buildings basements etc) to the homeless... get there early and you have a
warm place to sleep... drift in later on, you have a warm place to sit.

This one guy comes in 3 hours after the shelter was up and running (no room
at the inn), and went off on the staff demanding this, demanding that,
basically wanting to be outfitted with everything needed to live on the
streets... this other dude, a young guy that said he was homeless by choice,
starts telling him where he can get a free place to sleep, a free hot
shower, a free meal, free clothes, free laudnry services, free haircut.....
guy blows it off saying he doesn't have time for all that sh!t....

I was really shocked that all these services were available, for free, but
not good enough for this guy...
