Strange. Can you just copy over the fields from a backup into a new
report and see if it works?

No data environment on any report.
No functions in the reports. Only fields form the cursor.
It is the correct alias() on the report.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry, I saw later that someone else asked this same question.
Maybe you have a table/cursor in the DE of the report?
Maybe some function in the report is selecting a different work area?
Try deleting all the fields on the report and add one in with ALIAS() so
you'll find out what the alias is that the report is running on. If it
is the correct alias, then you can start adding back in batches of
controls from your backup copy of the report and see which one starts
the problem happening again.
Frank.

Any grids on the form where the report is being called from?

No...I put a wait window in just form the report is called and there
are 82 records in the cursor.
I copy my contact manager I wrote in VFP9 to the server and ran it
and all runs and prints as expected. All reports and labels run as
expected.
Thanks!

I have looked at everything. Fonts are good. Same font as usual -
Arial
Printer is selected. Driver works with other Fox apps on the server.
There are 2 others. Both print fine.
The reports run on my box and on my notebook machines.
The tag and tag2 fields are empty as in all the reports.
In a screen print the screen flashes and to the printer it spools and
goes no where.
I stopped and re-started the print spooler.
Notepad text files print ok.
I am at a loss as to what to try next.
Thanks for the help
Jack
Jack,
It sounds like the cursor that is selected when running the report is
empty.
That "the screen flashes" is my clue to lead me to that conclusion.
