The time has gone because M$ didn't make that many millions out of it, not
because of the product. It would not have taken them much to include it in
.net
On the subject that I think you're on here, west wind, Thierry's foxincloud
and even simple ASP.net with VFP dll work. At one time I even had a one page
ASP with VFP doing all the work. The problem is M$ and now others saying we
are using a dead language (my reason for moving on).
I am using C# in VS2012 now for that reason. And stuff that was 1 or 2 lines
of code are now an essay.
C# does not even have an Inputbox. You have to use the VB one or make your
own.

We have great memories of a fantastic tool that fit a time. That time has
come and gone. Managers of users today want easy deployment of apps. They
don't like the idea of Citrix from a cost perspective. Companies that have
bought their competition now have scattered locations which makes for a
tough time in the file server world from a VFP toolset. There are sister
apps that can deal with this such as West Wind but few people here seem to
work with it.
