I don't do anything special. just unplug it. If you are copying files, be sure to give it time to finish I guess.

Mainly I use it to look at pdf files on the thumb drive. Most of the meetings I go to give the lecture notes in pdf files on a thumb drive and so this works well.

I got one of those cables for my Note3. Cool! If you are using a thumb drive, do you need to do something to remove it safely?
