I respectfully disagree.  I am actually bidding on a project just now for
VFP work, my first in ages.

But Windows XP gets patches from Microsoft every month, and sometimes for
exploits already "in the wild." Rumors have it bad guys are saving up some
good ones for post-support, as those machines will be ripe for the plucking.

Running an obsolete OS with weak protection on the Internet is far, far
worse than writing new apps in VFP or VB6 or Turbo Pascal.
