Take a look at what this guy thinks a combined Windows 8.2 with Metro AND Classic interface should look like and how it should perform.

His ideas are sensible, well thought out and actually logical, giving Windows the look and feel of the device you are actually using it on OR the look and feel that the user wants. I think the idea of the "Start" button containing metro apps/thumbnails is excellent. Give it a look/read.
