I think I may have figured out what needs to happen. I suspect the paper size needs to be set in the Send to Neat printer by defining a form with that size. I have defined such a form but don't know how to tell VFP to use that form.
Another thing I have noticed is that it takes a long time to print each page. There is a little window that pops up at the lower right corner of the screen with the message "Converting EMF to Image along with a progress bar. Is there perhaps a way to avoid this conversion? New Status: I have experimented with creating the report in a text file. When I right click during the modi file session of the text file I can select the font I want. I then click the printer icon on the tool bar at the top of the screen and get the file into Neat via the Send to Neat driver. The wait for converting EMF to image and the wait for Neat to process the results are both much less so this appears to be the best way to achieve the transfer. The new question is - How can I programatically control the font that is used when printing a text file? When I close the file in VFP and then reopen it, the font remains the same but when I open the same file with notepad, the font information is not available. I checked the text file for any control characters but all I found were carriage returns and line feeds so VFP must have a way of remembering the font that was last used with the file. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Joe On Sat, Mar 1, 2014 at 3:41 PM, Joe Yoder <[email protected]> wrote: > I want to bring financial data into a "Neat" scanning system.
