End users, and I include us (especially!) in that list, love to whine. It's
the nature of the beast.

You have to have management buy-in. If a manager offers an award for the
department that saves the company the most money using free software, the
incentive is reversed.

Honestly, me, too. If senior management is interested in doing it, I can
lay out the business case and they can decide if that's what they want to
do. If not, I have better battles to fight than fighting the tide...
