If all you want to do is build a new icon from an existing corrupt one, take screenshot of an app with the icon, cut out the image of the icon using Paint, save this cut out as a PNG file and upload to this site ... they will send you back an ICO equivalent of your PNG file ... for free. http://www.convertico.com
