I have disconnected the printer from the server and used a usb cable to
print directly to the printer, same results.
Speedy for about 5 to 10 receipts then it's a long wait. 
Very strange

If the spooler is not deactivated on purpose (using Windows API), then this
slow down can be a spooler configuration problem.
