was going to suggest - re:Graphical versions of labels which is Killer

I have a question about printing. Here is the problem using vfp and
the report writer I have an exe file which prints receipts. So for the
first 5 or so receipts it prints immediately then it slows down to
about 40 seconds for all other ones. Its running on windows 7 32 bit
station which is connected to a server. If I reboot sometimes it will
fix it for a few Receipts and then it slows down to 40 or so seconds
per transaction. Very strange. I forgot to mention that the report
writer comes up immediately however it seems that it the process to
print is where the bottleneck seems to be.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Roger,
This could be related to the type of printer you have. The printer might use
the CPU instead of an on board processor. When you print your receipts if
they are sent as a graphic or have graphics on them, your CPU and Memory
usage might get high.
