The UK tax authorities now require certain claims to be submitted as Libre Office spreadsheets. I have a VFP program that generates the claim as an XLS file so for the last claim we used cut and paste to insert the data into a Libre Office spreadsheet only to find that their system didn't like the dates, they all had to be re-entered by hand before it would accept them - obviously a compatibility issue that I will need to track down.
