I do remember an article from like a year ago or more - some co. buying up the 
Amiga brand to keep it alive. And, I do remember something about the PowerPC HW 
in it - which, ah - wasn't the Mac prior to the Intel chip - running on 
PowerPC? OR was that the Mac Clones from a number of years ago! All the tech 
transitions have just become a Blur in my mind...

They still exist, running on PowerPC hardware, and the latest version of 
AmigaOS was released 5 months ago.
